I first started coaching in 2018 after receiving my certification from the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA.) Initially, I only coached a few athletes on the side while I continued working in the Mental Health field. After burning out in the human service industry and starting to take on too many clients to stay part-time, I joined the team at Lifelong Endurance, where I stayed for 3.5 years.

Lifelong Endurance provided me with the opportunity to work with other coaches, growing my knowledge and confidence. During this time, I became a level 2 coach through TrainingPeaks and started growing my voice as a coach, co-hosting and producing the podcast Defining Endurance.

In January 2023, I stepped out to coach on my own, challenging myself to grow as a business owner like I did as a coach. Since making the leap, I have added a nutrition certification to my credentials (also through UESCA) to better support my athletes holistically and have grown my freelance writing career.

Boston 2019: I have run Boston 2018, 2019, and 2022 (9 months postpartum)

I believe knowledge is power, and I work to empower my athletes to learn and grow in the sport, prioritizing 1:1 conversations where data and metrics are discussed. While I use data to build training plans and predict race results, I also know that the numbers are only half of the story, and encourage athletes to become more in-tune with their body, sharing how workouts felt both physically and mentally.

I use my background of working in mental health to help athletes with confidence and mental strength and to find joy in their training. I advocate for healthy and well-nourished running and believe it is my job to mitigate athlete burnout while encouraging a person to go for their craziest goals.
